In clinic we use two different types of medical grade keratolytics and one will be specifically selected depending on the severity of your scaling condition. These will aid with the desquamation of the epidermis and also provide an anti pruritic effect. Over time you will find that your scaling will become less prolific. 

In Bowe Organics Scalp and hair clinic we are trained in microneedling of the scalp. We use the brand Dermapen which is the number 1 microneedling tool in the UK. Along side the microneedling we will also glide which contains Exosomes and functional growth factor technology. This is clinically proven to provide results for those who are diagnosed with male or female pattern hair loss (androgenic alopecia). A consultation will be needed to make sure that this is the right option for you. 

We use the only laser that has been FDA approved and that has had clinical studies and papers to prove its effectiveness to target androgenic alopecia. The laser treatment can be a stand alone services or added on to any additional services such as a wet treatment or the microneedling. We also stock these devices for retail as best results are found when you use the device for a set amount of time.

UV Light therapy is used for those who struggle with psoriasis and can be used also for patients with alopecia areata and seborrhoea oleosa. This treatment can be stand alone however it is usually added in with a treatment plan which will be given to you be Diane, our Trichologist.
