Hair and Scalp Care from Diane, Trichologist in Darlington, covering the North East, Yarm, Norton, Durham, Eaglescliffe, Northallerton, Wynyard.

If you've found yourself here because you're worried about your hair, I want you to know one thing first... you're not alone.

Whether you've noticed your hair becoming thinner, you're experiencing excessive shedding, your scalp feels sore or itchy, or you've simply lost confidence in your hair, I understand just how emotional it can be.

For many people, our hair is part of who we are. It affects how we feel about ourselves, our confidence and even how we face each day. That's why helping people with their hair and scalp health is something I'm incredibly passionate about.

Hi, I'm Diane...

I'm the owner of Bowe Hair and Scalp Clinic and Spa, a qualified Trichologist, and I've spent many years helping people feel confident about their hair again.

Before becoming a Trichologist, I worked as a hairdresser, and over the years I've had the privilege of meeting thousands of wonderful clients. Time and time again, I realised that many people weren't just worried about how their hair looked—they were worried about why it was changing in the first place.

That curiosity led me to train in Trichology, allowing me to understand the science behind hair and scalp health and, more importantly, help people find answers.

Today, I work with clients experiencing:

  • Hair loss

  • Female and male pattern thinning

  • Alopecia

  • Hair shedding

  • Sensitive, itchy or irritated scalps

  • Dandruff and flaky scalp conditions

  • General hair and scalp concerns

No two people are the same, which is why no two consultations are either.

My Approach Is Simple...

My beliefs are that healthy hair is a multifactorial approach. It's caring for the scalp, hair internally and externally, our diet, health, lifestyle, the products we use and much more.

Rather than simply recommending products or treatments, I want to understand why you're experiencing hair loss or scalp concerns.

During your consultation, we'll talk about your lifestyle, medical history, nutrition, stress levels, hormones and hair care routine. I'll carefully examine your scalp and hair before putting together a personalised treatment plan that's designed specifically for you.

A More Natural Way to Care for Your Hair

''To keep your hair healthy expose it to less harsh ingredients''

As part of my own personal journey towards living a healthier lifestyle and reducing my toxic load, I created Bowe Organics—a range of natural products.

Here in the salon, I also choose to work with professional colouring systems that are kinder to both your hair and your wellbeing, including Organic Colour Systems and Water Colour.

For many of my clients, especially those with sensitive scalps or allergies, this makes a real difference.

More Than Just Hair Restoration

When you visit Bowe Hair and Scalp Clinic and Spa, I want you to feel looked after from the moment you walk through the door.

Whether you're coming for a Trichology consultation, a hair appointment or one of our beautiful Japanese Head Spa experiences, my team and I want you to leave feeling relaxed, supported and cared for.

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone walk out smiling because they finally feel heard and supported.

I'd Love to Help

If you're worried about your hair or scalp, please don't feel you have to struggle on your own.

Whether you've recently noticed changes or you've been living with hair loss for years, there's often more one can do than you might think.

I'd love to welcome you to the clinic, listen to your concerns and help you understand the options available to you.

Sometimes, the hardest part is taking that first step—but you don't have to do it alone.

I look forward to meeting you.

Diane
